I think that this movie quite nice, although not so logic in real life.
LIFE = TIME = MONEY
Yes, time does equal to money in real life.
In this movie, as they turn age 25, they need to start earn/get their time, to prevent themselves time out and die. People who doesn't have time are describe as POOR in this movie, while RICH people have plenty of time. Many poor people die because of time out. Which mean that, time also equal to life.
What I get from this movie:
1. Some people have the life but they waste it by drinking alcohol and kill themselves. At the end, they die with the time that still left with them.
2. Having long life doesn't mean happy.
3. This world have too many humans, inflation is to eliminate some and the poor 1 get it.
4. Time is so precious for those who lack of it.
5. Some people have time, but they just waste it.
6. The world is cruel.
7. Bond between family member.
8. We want to change something, but we just too weak.
This movie is not so serious, there are some humor part also. The Will and Sylvia even taking up the character of Robin Hood, rob the rich and help the poor. They rob the time from the time bank and distribute to the poor. From this movie, you can see the main character, Will, have showed many positive characteristic.
At the end, there is a part, where history repeated, Will only have a few seconds left to save Sylvia, and he did it! This part quite nice as it won't make people feel another regret, as Will failed to save his mom from time out at the beginning.
Because of the time, their look will stop at age 25. Mean they will never get old. So poor die young, while rich never die.
